Cynthia Olson is an American author living in Dublin, Ireland. She received a Masters in Creative Writing from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland and a Bachelors in English Literature from George Mason University in Virginia. Her short fiction has appeared in publications in America, Ireland and the U.K.
She is currently at work on a book about her family whose origins are in a remote area of the American southwest, known as the Great Muddy Valley.
During the day she works with social and economic justice organizations on ethical story-telling.
